Location

A good mountain for some rock and ice experiences.  Pisang peak stands at the height of 6091m, a good height for climbers to have a taste of the thin air at the 6000m mark. It is a mountain to consider if one has a lesser time but yet wanted a full mountaineering experience.  This is because of the area accessibility within the Annapurna region and the mountain’s proximity from the villages. Despite that, one should not underestimate this ‘Little’ giant, which offers a straightforward approach to the base camp but a steep ascent from the Lower pisang onwards.  Pisang is considered a slightly more technical peak once you go climb pass the high camp.  It is good to have some prior mountaineering experiences or for those who have completed the basic mountaineering course and want to have a go at the Himalayan giants.
