Traditional rock climbing is one of the most engaging and exciting styles of climbing. Sport climbing is one thing, placing gear on lead is another. The art of placing protection while lead climbing is a skill and put one’s mental strength to the test. This Rock level one will introduce you to a systematic approach to the progression required to become a safe trad climber. The course has the participant place all kinds of gear on top rope to a real lead. Participant will also learn to trust his/her own work by falling onto their placed gear in the mock lead session, and one will get a chance to execute their own built-in hanging belay on the wall.
